Malaysia, Truly Asia
As my sembreak embarks on its second week, I bid farewell to my mother country, hopped on a plane to LAX (a la Miley Cyrus’ Party in the USA), well, plane to Kuala Lumpur. A visit to Malaysia would be my second out-of-the-country tour. And yes, blame my awesome course, that is International Studies, for holding this adventure. Oh, God bless my restless soul.
I flew to Malaysia with 25 other people and enjoyed sight-seeing and countless pictorials with what this country has to offer.

Day 1: MELAKA and KUALA LUMPUR tour

So much photos in just one day. Who could blame us, what’s a vacation without memories? In Malaysia, unlike the Philippines, 7pm is still very bright. It was a funny scenario when our local tour guide said that we are headed for dinner and we still thought that it was 5 in the afternoon.
Besides tours and all that mumbo jumbo fun, we also have something quite related to our field and that’s our institutional visits. For Malaysia, we went to the Philippine Embassy and the United Nations University.

And so, we left Malaysia happy and satisfied and we are ready to depart to a nearby place but with a different culture and government. So near yet so far.

All is well that ends well. Thank you Malaysia! Til we meet again.
