Singapuraaa

After our inspiring yet educational experience in Truly Asia (Malaysia), we set foot to another journey filled with modernization and a perfect example of globalization. Hello Singapore!

Our first day was spent with courtesy call at the Philippine Embassy and trip down to the Lee Kwan Yeu School of Public Policy. We all felt very inspired yet challenged. *fingers cossed* everybody!

After the busy day, it was time for shopping! Of course, we changed into our freestyle clothes. Our local tour guide whom we popularly call as “Ankol” (Uncle), dropped us at Bugis Street. We were so overwhelmed of the place and everything from clothes to accessories to bags, were there!

By 6:30, we had an assembly at the hotel, so we were asked to walk to the hotel by ourselves and it was good to know that my map-reading skill is going to a higher level. Yay for being a wanderer.

Then, off to the Night Safari..

Second day was spent with more inspiring institutional visit. Rajaratnam School of International Studies gave us a talk about their curriculum and what they offer (hello cannot-be-reached dreams!). Following our lunch was a visit to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation which is already familiar to us since we took up Asia-Pacific last semester.

By night, it was time to go out and meet my cousin Malbert who resides in awesome Singapore!

With that, I concluded that I shall come back. I’ll keep my fingers crossed. I <3 SINGAPORE!

Where to next?

Swing my hips and giggle,
