What’s Up?

Before anything else, I hope nobody has decided to unfollow me due to my unreasonable absence in blogging. We all have that time of year when we just couldn’t afford to slack off and blab about the things going on. So far, I have been pre-occupied being a full time student hence the most frightening event that is THESIS. Apart from that, I have also been a part time officer and a girlfriend to ever-needy boyfriend.

I suddenly lost the frame of mind of to bring my handy dandy camera everyday and even if I did, I wouldn’t touch it. What’s wrong with me? No, don’t answer that.

Before I start to flood your minds with my absurdity, I shall photo dump the events that I have been up to.

1. College of Arts and Sciences Sportsfest

All for fun and nothing serious. It was just something that I was eager to join since I haven’t joined a sportsfest before. A lot of seniors actually participated in this event. By the way, there’s no swimming category so I joined the volleyball team which I think or thought I know/knew how to play (HAHA).

2. 1st Ateneo Diplomatic Corps Convention

To be honest, I was busy working with our thesis that I wasn’t able to help during the preparations. The only time I only got to serve with my whole body and soul was during the actual convention. Anyway, yes, it’s the very first ADC convention and it was truly a success. The speakers from the Consulate General of Malaysia and the Embassy of Japan were very grateful to have been a part of it. Also the speakers from DFA, NEDA, OWWA, Sir Libre and etc. I’m speechless with the way it turned out.

An addition to this event was my first time to host and it wasn’t so bad. I’m so delighted with the experience and the friends that I have made.

3. Xavier University Festival Days

Despite attending it from the opening til the 2nd day, I did enjoy it. It shall be my last (as a student). Too bad I wasn’t able to join the XUHS Alumni Homecoming. Oh well, there’s always a next year.

4. The fastest 24-hours of my year: CEBU

Yes, we did it a little early this year and I’m thankful that we did since I’m praying for a lot of things. I’m happy to have visited Sto. Nino and Mama Mary. I was also able to hear mass that was dedicated to St. Francis Xavier because it was his feast day. Yay! Patron saint of my school! And with that comes a reward that I consider a blessing.

And that’s a wrap! Only a few weeks more until Christmas. Have a blessed December! Pray for my cousins and friends who are going to take the NLE and for my batchmates and me who are going to have the most “awaited” thesis proposal defense.

Swing my hips and giggle,
