Life May Not Be Fair But It’s Still Good
The statement that I live up everyday next to God is good. Instead of trying to come up with a valid excuse to my blogging absence and going on and on again about my usual rants and musings about school and the stuffs that I am obsessing with, I’m thinking of dishing out a bunch of events that are headed towards my way that I think are signs of the unfair life that I still manage to love.
There’s always that common human nature that has been implanted within us to complain how intolerable life can be sometimes. Followed by the numerous bombast of “FMLs” and “I can’t do this anymoreS” which, I do highly recommend, can be helpful at times. But if we think about it, life is really not that bad after all. If we all look on the bright side, there’s always a light at the end of a dark tunnel.
1) International Studies Premiere Night

After weeks and weeks of preparations and delays, this will finally push through!
- Unfair: We’ll all be working our asses off to make this a blast since for the seniors, it shall be our last. The officers are being dominated by seniors which is a bit complex since we are battling with academics as well.
- On the bright side: The hardwork ALWAYS pays off!
2) Yearbook Pictorials

This is it! We’re finally graduating…
- Unfair: I have a week to prepare for this. It shall be the very last yearbook pictorials and I want it to be the best.
- On the bright side: I got enlisted already and I’m having a storm of ideas and resources for a candid shot.
3) 2011 Intramurals

This shall be my last :(
- Unfair: I’ll spend 4 to 5 times a week training and there’s a big NO to sweets and softdrinks til the end of intrams. Also, hardcore training by September.
- On the bright side: I’ll stay fit and I get to bond more with my team and having fun with our favorite sport.
Basically, those are just SOME of the triumphs that are running inside my head but I am really looking forward to. But despite the roller coaster rides of everything whether it be emotional or mental and etc., I still think that life has been well and God has been very generous with his everyday blessings.
PS: Someone met my parents last Sunday…

and this is how I look already… still the same…

That’s it for now. I’ll be writing about our Premiere Night as soon as possible. Have a great weekend!
Swing my hips and giggle,
