We Are The Change
When the new set of ADC officers had taken over the organization, the biggest objective in our minds was CHANGE. I don’t mean to point out that the past administrations didn’t satisfy us. What I’m trying to express is how International Studies would not just be called as the tambakan ng mga bagsak but rather be given the respect that we deserve to have. It’s about time that some people from other courses would stop degrading us because without us (DIPLOMATS), our country wouldn’t have treaties and foreign relations to superpower countries.
So far, our batch has done so much already in a span of less than a year. The OJT was one (hell) of the successful things that we’ve been granted. Following that was UNITASS general assembly, which the representative of International Studies actually made a hakot award. Then *drum roll* the first ever grandest International Studies General Assembly. Most of the officers were completely stressed out but it was very successful. The full force of the faculty plus the sponsorship of GetBlued and Ateneo Camera Club set smiles on our faces despite how tired we all are. Oh and did I mention that our very own IS band had composed our very first IS song? To more successful activities.. *cheers*!
